Major Funding Boost for African Climate Solutions

The National Research Foundation (NRF) of South Africa has announced a significant milestone in climate research funding, with 10 African-led projects selected for support under the Belmont Forum Collaborative Research Action initiative. This €4.29 million investment represents one of the most substantial commitments to African climate research in recent years, bringing together international funders to address the continent’s most pressing environmental challenges.
